Hard times on the high street

The conference on 29 November aims to share ideas on dealing with the economic situation

I am only too aware from my own firm of the extent to which the credit crunch has led to a standstill in domestic conveyancing business in many areas and the effect that is having on my own turnover and, ultimately, profitability.

It was that experience that led me to believe it was time to bring the backbone of the profession together at a conference for high street practitioners on 29 November at Stirling Management Centre.

We can’t promise any easy solutions to what is only our own small sharp end of a worldwide problem, but at least we might help in identifying common problems and potential responses.

The event is only half a day, and a Saturday at that, and the nominal cost of £30 seeks to do no more than defray the overheads.
