Will Drafting Essentials
CPD: 5 hours (Other)

Date: Monday 1st November
Time: Registration 9.30am, Seminar 10am - 4.30pm
Location: Doubletree by Hilton Dunblane Hydro, Dunblane

Although, on average, 67% of those who die each year do not leave a Will, there
appears to be evidence that more Scots are becoming aware of the need to make a suitably crafted Will to govern the succession to their estate. This is of particular importance where young, vulnerable or incapax family members are intended to benefit. More individuals are increasingly conscious that Estate Planning involves more than just mitigation of Inheritance Tax.

Appropriately framed Wills become more important as our society becomes more fractured and with marriage assuming lesser importance than before. The science of Will making requires adapting to the society in which it exists and which it serves.

This full day seminar will tackle a variety of issues that arise when drafting Wills and the practical workshops will enable us to explore these in more detail.
