Crackdown on anti-Jewish attacks
Police have launched a campaign to curb anti-Semitism, amid fears that the number of attacks is rising as a result of 9/11 and growing tension in the Middle East.
A poster campaign by Strathclyde Police will raise awareness of the issue and encourage more people to report this kind of crime.
In the past year across Strathclyde there have been six incidents of anti-Semitic crime, double the previous year, although police officers believe many incidents go unreported.
There have been a number of attacks against the Jewish community in the past few years including an attempt to firebomb the Edinburgh synagogue.
