Digby Brown event raises £31,000 for charity
Personal injury lawyers Digby Brown have raised £31,000 for the charity Spinal Injuries Scotland (SIS) at their winter dinner dance.
The event, held at the Intercontinental Holiday Inn, Glasgow and hosted by Andy Cameron, included dinner, a silent auction, a main auction, lucky envelopes and dancing to a band and disco.
Robert Swanney, partner at Digby Brown, said: “We are honoured to be associated with Spinal Injuries Scotland. We have been working with the charity for many years and see first hand what a difference they make not only to the lives of those that have injured their spines, but also to their carers, friends and families.”
John O’Neill, chief executive of SIS, added: “This year’s event was a complete success and goes a long way towards the funds we need to deliver the information, advocacy, support, counseling and legal and welfare advice that SIS makes available to Scotland’s 3,500 spinal cord injured people, their families, friends and carers each year.”
