Gillespie Macandrew WS to become LLP

Edinburgh law firm Gillespie Macandrew WS has become a limited liability partnership to help encourage future growth.

Managing partner Ian Turnbull said: “We feel that an LLP is the appropriate structure to take a modern professional practice forward. Having the right structure is one of the key elements that will assist in the continued growth of the firm.

“While our LLP name does not include the traditional ‘WS’, we do value this and will continue to use it in our business letters.”

The firm currently has 20 partners and over 120 legal, investment and property professionals and support staff, which brought about a recent move to larger premises in Atholl Crescent.
