Seven join DLA Piper

DLA Piper Scotland is ending 2006 with seven new appointments to its real estate, construction and engineering, commercial and projects, and parliamentary and regulatory teams.

The real estate appointments are Ramiza Mohammed and Barbara Stephenson as solicitors, while Helen Abrams has taken up the position of associate.

Keith Kilburn has been appointed as a solicitor to construction and engineering. Philip Hecht and Paula Ward have been appointed as solicitors to commercial and projects.

The firm's new Scottish parliamentary and regulatory practice has also appointed Colette Watson as a solicitor to work alongside Hazel Moffat.

Managing partner Bruce Westbrook said: “It is great to be able to attract such a wealth of talent to strengthen each of these teams in Scotland."
