Sheriff reappointed to SCRA

Sheriff Pamela Bowman has been reappointed as a member of the Scottish Children's Reporter Administration (SCRA) Board.

Sheriff Bowman is a resident sheriff in Glasgow who sits in the drug court. She has previously served on the Scottish Legal Aid Board and the Angus NHS Trust.

The appointment, for the period from 1 April 2007 to 31 March 2011, requires a time commitment of one and a half days per month.

Based in Stirling, SCRA oversees the work of children's reporters and the provision of accommodation for children's hearings. It manages 30 offices across Scotland and currently employs 451 full time equivalent staff.
