New hire for Brechin Tindall Oatts

The commercial law firm Brechin Tindal Oatts has taken on a new member of staff from rival firm Dundas & Wilson.

Mark Morton will be working with the firm as an associate in its litigation department from 1 August.

Willie Young, Brechin Tindal Oatts' managing partner, said said he was confident the firm could increase its turnover from £9 million in the year to 30 April to £10m in the current financial year - an increase of 11%.

Since the merger of the firms Brechin Robb and Tindall Oatts in 1997 to create Brechin Tindall Oatts, the business has doubled its number of partners from 12 to 24, and increased the fee earner total from 17 to 43.
