New team for Bell & Scott
The specialist property law firm Bell & Scott has launched a strategic land team.
The team will offer advice and support to both developers and landowners within this growth area. Partly because of the lack of sites on the market with the benefit of planning consent, strategic land deals have become increasingly popular in recent years.
Bruce Anderson, head of the new team at Bell & Scott, said: “We recognised that many of our lawyers have extensive experience of strategic land deals, giving them a deep and genuine understanding of the issues, be they commercial, contractual, planning or practical. The next logical step for us was to bring those lawyers together, enabling them to use that experience to the best advantage of clients – both developers and landowners.”
