New IT appointment for Dundas & Wilson

Dundas & Wilson has hired Richard Elson as chief information officer to lead the development of the firm’s IT systems across the UK.

Mr Elson joins D&W from Shearman & Sterling LLP, where he currently has an international management role reporting to the global CIO, which includes leading the management of business-facing IT services across 19 locations.

Principally based in London, he will work across all three of D&W’s offices to implement the next phase of the firm’s IT strategy.

Donald Shaw, D&W managing partner, said: “The role of chief information officer is new to Dundas & Wilson. It shows our ongoing commitment to the development of our technology systems to achieve continued standards of excellence in service delivery and information management.”
