Law firm marketing entries sought for awards

Scottish legal firms with successful marketing campaigns are being challenged to put themselves forward for recognition.

The Marketing Society Scotland's Marketing Excellence Awards, now in their fourth year, are keen to broaden their entry from sectors including the legal profession, as well as the health sector, the voluntary sector and the financial sector.

Graeme Atha, Director of the Marketing Society Scotland said: "We know from previous years that there are some great marketing stories out there. We want to celebrate the best of these case studies and to recognise the talents of the stars who have delivered marketing excellence this year."

Ken Grier of the Edrington Group, chairman of the awards, added: "Even the process of writing an entry helps professionals and organisations to develop their marketing skills. It is a good way of taking stock of marketing activities. We are determined to make the 2008 awards even bigger and better by encouraging entries from all sectors of our marketing community."

For details of how to enter and case studies from past award winners, see http://www.marketing-society.org.uk/meas08. The closing date for entries is 31 January 2008. The awards will be presented at a dinner on 9 May 2008.

The Marketing Society describes itself as "the most influential network of senior marketers in the UK dedicated to promoting marketing excellence and raising the status of marketing in business".
