Dual qualified lawyer appointed at Semple Fraser

Semple Fraser has appointed Douglas Gourlay as a senior associate in its specialist banking and finance team.

Mr Gourlay, who joins from Dundas & Wilson, is dual qualified in English and Scots law and has cross-border experience in both commercial property and corporate banking practice, with particular expertise in property finance. He commented:

“I am excited by the opportunity to contribute to the firm’s continued growth and success in what is an ever more competitive marketplace. Semple Fraser is an ambitious and innovative firm and I am thrilled to be joining the team.”

Multi-national practice Semple Fraser now has 23 dual qualified lawyers and a further six English qualified lawyers.
