Former partner returns to S&W

A former Shepherd and Wedderburn partner has returned to the firm after spending nearly two years as an executive in the commercial real estate sector.

Andrew Blain, who left Shepherd and Wedderburn in early 2006 to take up the role of corporate director with a client company, Dunedin Property, has been appointed as a partner in the firm’s corporate finance division.

Mr Blain will lead the UK-wide development of the firm's corporate real estate practice.

Dunedin Property will remain as one of his clients.

Chief executive Patrick Andrews said: "We are delighted to welcome Andrew back. The commercial experience he gained at Dunedin combined with his reputation as a corporate lawyer will truly benefit the firm and its market-leading property team."
