Alloa acquisition for Central Belt firm

Central belt solicitors Russel + Aitken Falkirk have acquired the Alloa-based firm Allan Grant.

David Anderson and Alasdair Adam, the former partners of Allan Grant, will continue to serve with the firm. Russel + Aitken say the move will enhance existing services to Allan Grant clients and will allow the firm to further develop its criminal practice and estate agency service.

Russel + Aitken has 12 partners and more than 150 members of staff working from four offices across central Scotland.

Euan Bell-Scott, senior partner at Russel + Aitken Falkirk, said: “This latest move illustrates our continued strategy for growth.” He added that Clackmannanshire was a thriving area with the new Kincardine bridge and railway line developments, creating "fantastic opportunities".
