HBJ Gateley Wareing to merge with specialist firm
HBJ Gateley Wareing is to merge with the London maritime and commercial law firm Holmes Hardingham.
The merger will create a specialist shipping and transport practice in London, servicing HBJ Gateley Wareing’s expanding national and international client base. The merger is expected to take place in June. The enlarged team will comprise 26 lawyers operating out of Edinburgh, London and Dubai, including the six current Holmes Hardingham partners and five other fee earners who will continue to operate under the name Holmes Hardingham.
Commenting on the merger, Holmes Hardingham chairman Adrian Hardingham said: “We are delighted to join HBJ Gateley Wareing to create a top tier international shipping, maritime and multi-modal transport practice.”
