DLA Piper Scotland to support three good causes

DLA Piper Scotland has chosen to support three charities over the next 12 months, with the aim of raising £10,000 to help benefit the different causes.

The Edinburgh and Glasgow offices will be supporting Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland, Quarriers (which provides care and support for people with disabilities) and the Rock of Joy Trust, a charity that runs a school in Uganda for maltreated and impoverished children.

Rock of Joy Trust has a special link with the firm as it is run by the parents of DLA Piper solicitor, Laura Craig.

The firm's charity committee is planning a number of fundraising initiatives to help meet the £10,000 target, such as asking everyone in the firm to donate £1 every week for dress-down Fridays.
