Turnover up at Morton Fraser

4 July 2008

The law firm Morton Fraser has announced another year of growth, reflected in increased turnover and the expansion of the London and Glasgow offices over the past year.

Turnover is up by 15% to £15.6 million, with profit growth over 10%. Chief executive Linda Urquhart announced that the firm’s staff will share in its successful performance through profit-related pay of 6% of salary.

Ms Urquhart added that the firm was close to concluding a deal to double the floorspace in its Glasgow office.

She said: “There are clearly challenges in the market place for any law firm in the present economic climate, but I am confident that we are well placed to keep growing if we continue to deliver the quality of service our clients rightly expect. I’m pleased to see that we’ve had double digit growth in all divisions across the firm.”
