Advocate Lorna Drummond joins bench
Lorna Drummond, advocate has been appointed a part time sheriff, it was anounced today.
Ms Drummond (40) graduated from Glasgow University in 1989. She was admitted as a solicitor in September 1993 and to the Faculty of Advocates in July 1998. She is currently the Crown counsel with the Attorney General's Chambers in Ascension Island, conducting both civil and criminal litigation.
The appointment was recommended by the Judicial Appointments Board for Scotland.
