Lorna Drummond takes on new role
Lorna Drummond has been appointed as a part-time sheriff.
Ms Drummond (40) graduated from Glasgow University in 1989. She was admitted as a solicitor in September 1993 and to the Faculty of Advocates in July 1998. Until recently, she worked for the Crown Counsel with the Attorney General's Chambers in Ascension Island conducting both civil and criminal litigation.
Ms Drummond was recommended for appointment by the Judicial Appointments Board for Scotland.
