Law firm to host charity quiz event

30 January 2009

Law firm HBJ Gateley Wareing is once again hosting a "Question of Sport" style quiz at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre for charity.

Now in its 12th year, Sportsquest 2009 takes place on Thursday 5 March and will be chaired by Sky Sports pundit and former footballer Alan McInally. Teams of 10 will compete to take gold through five rounds of questions.

All of the money raised will be shared equally between local charity the Edinburgh Headway Group and Children’s Aid. Last year guests raised more than £74,000 for the two charities.

Malcolm McPherson, senior partner at HBJ Gateley Wareing, said: “Over the last 12 years the event has raised around £1,000,000 for good causes, making a real improvement in the lives of people across Scotland.”

To book a table at the event, contact HBJ Gateley Wareing, Exchange Tower, 19 Canning Street, Edinburgh EH3 8EH or email .
