MacRoberts announces move to Atlantic Quay
MacRoberts LLP is to become the first tenant at Wilson Bowden’s Capella Building at Atlantic Quay in the heart of Glasgow’s International Financial Services District.
The commercial law firm will relocate to Capella from its existing Glasgow premises at 152 Bath Street by the end of 2009, occupying more than 33,500 square feet over four floors.
The 11-storey, £35 million Capella development is set for completion in August this year and will be the tallest office building on the Broomielaw. With retail and leisure development on the ground floor, the building will form the centrepiece of Atlantic Quay.
Michael Murphy, Managing Partner of MacRoberts LLP said: “MacRoberts have made a very bold decision to secure what we consider to be the best office location in Glasgow for our business.
“The selection of Capella and the timing of the move is a clear statement of our ambition and our confidence in the future of MacRoberts and of our desire to provide our staff with modern, attractive and comfortable office accommodation that enhances the efficiency of the way we work together, for the ultimate benefit of our clients.”
