Partner hire for Edinburgh law firm

Edinburgh solicitor Gordon Hunter has been appointed a partner in law firm CCW LLP’s property and private client team.

Mr Hunter, who studied at Edinburgh University and trained with Ranken and Reid before setting up his own practice, joins CCW from Valente McCombie and Hunter. He will be based in CCW’s Edinburgh office.

CCW said that Mr Hunter (52) had "a wealth of knowledge in property law" and would work with clients buying, selling and leasing a wide variety of properties, as well as developing and growing the business.

Mr Hunter said: “I aim to bring new business to CCW and increase its profile in Edinburgh and the Lothians, expand the firm’s business base into new areas and ensure that clients are being well looked after with support from my very capable and energetic colleagues.”
