Four new part-time sheriffs appointed
Four new part-time sheriffs have been appointed, Scottish Ministers announced today.
Mungo Bovey QC, Paul Vincent Crozier, Paul Anthony Reid and Paul Francis Joseph Wade were recommended by the Judicial Appointments Board for Scotland.
Mr Bovey (49) graduated from Glasgow University in 1980. He was admitted as a solicitor in 1982 and admitted to the Faculty of Advocates in 1984. He took silk in 1998.
A solicitor advocate since 2002, Mr Crozier (47) graduated from Strathclyde University in 1983 and was admitted as a solicitor in 1985. He is currently a partner with Croziers, Dumbarton.
Mr Reid (45), a partner with Fleming & Reid, Glasgow, graduated from Strathclyde University in 1980. He was admitted as a solicitor in 1986 and as a solicitor advocate in 2002 for the criminal courts and in 2007 for civil cases.
Also a solicitor advocate, since 1993 when the first solicitor advocates were admitted, Mr Wade (56) graduated from Glasgow University in 1974. He was admitted as a solicitor in 1976 and is currently a partner with Simpson & Marwick, Glasgow.
