Senior appointment for Morton Fraser

Caroline Docherty has joined Morton Fraser as a consultant in its real estate team.

Ms Docherty joins from Bell & Scott and has over 20 years’ experience as a real estate partner with two Scottish legal firms.

She has acted for developers, housebuilders, and landowners, and has particular expertise in strategic land transactions, where she works with clients to devise deal structures which unlock maximum development value.

She is also currently Deputy Keeper of HM Signet.

Jonathan Seddon, who heads Morton Fraser's real estate division, welcomed the appointment. “We are delighted that Caroline is joining us as she brings a wealth of experience of working at a senior level in the industry, especially in the strategic land market. Our clients will benefit from her expertise and pragmatic approach to getting their deals done.”
