Legal blogs score in poll

Two lawyer blogs have been voted into high placings in the annual Scotblog Awards.

The Inksters Give blog (www.inkstersgive.com) came eighth, and Scots Law News, from Edinburgh University (www.law.ed.ac.uk/sln/), 14th out of 141 contenders in the personal and general category, for which results were announced today.

The category covers blogs primarily focusing on topics other than politics and current affairs.

Inksters Give follows Glasgow solicitor Brian Inkster and his wife Nicola Walls as they prepare, fundraise, travel and build houses for Habitat for Humanity as part of the Argentina Global Village Challenge 2009.

Scots Law News needs little explanation.

  • Update: Inksters Give has since also been placed fifth in the top newcomers of 2009 category.
