Tayside legal firm appoints associate

Thorntons Solicitors has announced that IP/IT solicitor Liam McMonagle has joined the firm’s Yeoman Shore headquarters in Dundee as an associate.

The Strathclyde University graduate joins the firm from Dundas & Wilson’s Glasgow-based technology team.

His experience spans both IP and IT practice areas, with a particular focus on media and entertainment work, IT supply arrangements and higher education.

Mr McMonagle said: “Thorntons  has a fantastic reputation in the IP and entertainment field under partner Lesley Larg, and an impressive client track record. I look forward to developing a strong working relationship with existing and new clients.
