Morton Fraser in charity challenge
A law firm team will this weekend undertake a gruelling challenge in aid of the firm's chosen charity.
Members of staff from Morton Fraser will embark tomorrow on a 72-mile cyclo-sportive across the Borders in aid of Bethany Christian Trust. The event is part of a wider programme of participation following the firm’s decision to elect the Trust, which supports homeless and vulnerable people, as their Charity of the Year.
Morton Fraser Chief Executive Linda Urquhart said of the event: “The Bethany Sportive event is a challenging trek across some difficult terrain, but this once again demonstrates the commitment of our staff in supporting the important work of this particular charity. We have a large number of sporty individuals within the firm, one of whom recently completed the Edinburgh marathon, also in aid of Bethany Trust and we are very proud of their endeavours in these events.”
Iain Gordon, Bethany’s chief executive, added: “Support of this kind furthers our work to meet the needs and relieve the suffering of homeless and vulnerable people. Thanks to the Morton Fraser team and the funds they raise, we will be able to continue to deliver vital services across Scotland.‘’
