Charity appeals for legal board member

YMCA Glasgow is looking for a new board member with expertise and knowledge in finance and legal services.

The non-remunerated post (travel expenses will be reimburse) would involve the holder helping shape the charity's strategic direction during a period of "transformational change" for the organisation, including a review of the overall governance of the association.

YMCA Glasgow, which now operates across Scotland's central belt, provides services for vulnerable young people in its supported residences, in addition to helping people of all ages who are, or have been, at risk of being homeless. The organisation also works with asylum seekers and refugees and provides out-of-school and other childcare.
