Two associate appointments by MacRoberts

Law firm MacRoberts LLP has boosted its planning law team with two new appointments.

Moray Thomson joins the team as senior associate and Frances Pacitti as associate, working with partner, Jamie Grant.

Moray Thomson has particular expertise in all aspects of planning, environmental and roads law and is dual qualified as both a planner and a solicitor. His experience includes advising on the Beauly to Denny 400kV overhead transmission line, the South West Scotland electricity transmission upgrade and Dunbar Energy from Waste facility.

Frances Pacitti, who is qualified both in Scotland, and England & Wales advises on all aspects of planning and compulsory purchase law, with particular interest in renewable energy projects and roads issues associated with a range of developments.

MacRoberts’ Managing Partner, Michael Murphy, said: “Moray and Frances are highly regarded in their sector and their appointment materially enhances MacRoberts’ planning function, complementing Jamie’s established leadership and expertise.”
