Nine leave McGrigors over merger conflicts
McGrigors' Manchester-based construction team has left the firm over conflict of interest issues arising from the forthcoming merger with Pinsent Masons.
Nine lawyers including David Moss, head of the Manchester office, have joined Eversheds, who have a number of client interests in common, including Balfour Beatty and United Utilities.
The merged firm will still have a combined construction lawyer count of about 250. The merger is due to take effect from 1 May.
Mr Moss commented: "I'm confident that our team will be a good fit within the construction practice at Eversheds."
