Ayr firm names claims centre head

4 September 2012

Ayr-based law firm Frazer Coogans Solicitors has announced the appointment of Ross Slater as the new head of its Accident & Injury Claims Centre.

An experienced solicitor with a strong interest in civil litigation, particularly relating to pursuer personal injury, Mr Slater (48) has spent much of his career at Digby Brown, where he was a partner and latterly consultant. He previously practised with Caesar & Howie after training at Ross Harper & Murphy and spending a couple of years in Australia.

Established in 1985, Frazer Coogans' current senior director Norman Geddes set up the Accident & Injury Claims Centre in 1996 to provide a dedicated specialist legal service to parties seeking compensation.

Mr Geddes commented: “The importance that we attach to the work of our Accident & Injury Claims Centre is evidenced by the appointment of Ross Slater as its new head. We look forward to Ross building upon the successful foundations laid down over the past 16 years, and to the Centre enabling even more victims of accidents and injuries through no fault of their own to win the compensation that they deserve.”

Mr Slater added: "We share the vision to build on the existing foundations of the Accident & Injury Claims Centre. As I have worked for the victims of accidents for some 20 years, I hope to be able to assist in the continued growth of the firm.”
