Turcan Connell opens in Glasgow

Turcan Connell has officially opened its Glasgow office, plans for which were disclosed in April.

The legal and investment management firm cites client demand as prompting its new location, at Sutherland House in St Vincent Street, and hopes to grow its wealth management, private client and family law services through the move.

Currently celebrating its 15th year, Turcan Connell also has offices in Edinburgh, London and Guernsey.

Douglas Connell, joint senior partner, said: "The move is an exciting development for the Firm. We are growing our business at a time when many law firms are in decline.

"We made the decision to expand to Glasgow having fully researched the market first. There is a demand for our services in the west of Scotland and we are confident that there are real opportunities for Turcan Connell."

The firm has also appointed David Robertson as senior client service manager in its asset management business, to focus on developing the firm's portfolio within the charity sector.
