Promotions at Lindays

18 October 2012

Lindsays has promoted two new directors and two new associates.

Caroline Loudon, head of the firm’s highly-rated licensing and gambling team, has been promoted to the role of director. The Chambers and Partners legal guide says of Caroline “She is commended for her ability to establish a rapport with licensing boards, and "is incredibly good at winning unwinnable licences."”

Ben Doherty has been promoted to director in the employment team. With 10 years of experience in employment law practice, Ben has represented employer clients from a range of sectors in employment tribunals. He has experience of defending unfair dismissal, equal pay and the entire range of discrimination claims.

Jennifer Maciver has been promoted to associate in the firm’s family law team. Her practice principally encompasses financial issues on separation and divorce, cohabitation, prenuptial agreements and cases involving children.

Raymond Baudon has been promoted to associate within the corporate and technology group. He works with a range of clients, in particular SMEs, providing general corporate advice and support.

The promotions come hot on the heels of Lindsays’ merger with long-established Edinburgh firm MacLachlan & MacKenzie earlier this month.
