Further growth at Digby Brown

20 December 2012

Specialist personal injury firm Digby Brown has announced revenue growth of 8% in its results for the year 2011-12, reported today.

Turnover for the group (which includes the funding company Compensate) was £17.84m, up from £16.5m, producing a net profit of £6.1m. Last year's published results, for Digby Brown LLP alone, showed turnover up 22% at £14.2m and profit of £6.2m.

Over the year the firm recovered £65.8m in damages awards for clients. It claims to recover on average more than three times what clients are offered by insurers prior to litigation.

Fraser Oliver, partner and executive board member said, said it had been "another exceptional year" for the firm. “Our new offices in Inverness and Kirkcaldy complement our more established offices in Glasgow, Dundee and Edinburgh. They allow us to help people throughout the length and breadth of Scotland”, he commented.
