Society-commissioned Ipsos MORI survey begins today
A cross-section of Scottish solicitors will be invited to take part in telephone interviews from today, as the annual members' survey for the Law Society of Scotland gets underway.
Once again carried out by independent polling organisation Ipsos MORI, the survey gives members an opportunity to comment on their perception of the Society, what its priorities should be and the services it provides.
Last year's survey included questions covering solicitors' views on the outlook for the profession, and revealed an almost even split on whether they had an optimistic or pessimistic view of the future.
A representative sample of 500 solicitors from across the Scottish legal spectrum will be asked for their views, and the Society encourages any member contacted by Ipsos MORI to take the opportunity to have their say.
