Accountant in Bankruptcy receives OBE in Birthday honours
The chief executive of Scotland's Accountant in Bankruptcy office has been awarded an OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) in the Queen's Birthday honours list.
Rosemary Winter-Scott was cited for her public service to insolvency services in Scotland, and also voluntary service to education through Jordanhill School, Glasgow.
She was joined on the OBE list by Elspeth MacArthur, a former lay member of the Judicial Appointments Board for Scotland, for her services to judicial appointments. A former director of human recources at Edinburgh University, Ms MacArthur is also a lay member of the employment tribunal in Scotland.
Duncan Dennett, manager of the citizens' advice bureau in Alloa, was awarded the MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) for services to the community in Clackmannanshire.
