Legal firm Wright Johnston & Mackenzie (WJM) has added to its commercial property team with the appointment of Neil Darling as a partner.
Mr Darling joins from DWF and will be based in WJM’s Edinburgh office, which has recently expanded through lateral hires.
Colin Brass, head of WJM’s commercial property team, said: “We are delighted to have attracted someone of Neil’s calibre to join the team. He has extensive experience of acting for property owners, managers, banks and investors throughout the UK across a range of industries and sectors where he deals with finance, sales and acquisitions, commercial developments and the leasing of commercial premises, in addition to his significant experience and expertise in forestry and agricultural matters.”
Chief executive Liam Entwistle commented: “Commercial property is one of WJM’s key disciplines, supporting our important sector strategies from energy through licensed trade to agriculture and rural."
He added: “This strategic recruitment puts us in an excellent position to provide our full range of services to our clients wherever they may be situated, and gives us the opportunity for further expansion in our key market sectors.”
