Morisons makes new appointments
Morisons has made two new appointments, with Karen Wooton joining the Private Client Team in Glasgow as an associate specialising in working with carers, older people and people living with learning and physical disabilities.
Previously head of private client at NewLaw Scotland and an associate with McKinstry Company in Ayr, Karen also has particular experience of working on trusts for people with disabilities and care home fee planning.
Also joining the Glasgow office is Morven Douglas, who has also been appointed as an associate within the Family Team. Morven is an accredited specialist in Family Law and received a mention of “excellent” in the 2013 edition of The Legal 500.
Morven moves from Balfour and Manson in Edinburgh, and is the former secretary of Consensus Scotland, Edinburgh.
Peter Duff, managing partner, Morisons said: "Both appointments are in two of the firm’s growing teams and we are pleased to incorporate Karen and Morven's skills within the departments to develop our increasing client base.”
