Society offers free websites to solicitors

The Society has launched a free service to solicitors who would like to have a website but have not yet managed to set one up

The Society has just launched a brand new free service to solicitors firms who would like to have their own web site but haven’t yet managed to set one up. Records state that the majority of firms are without web sites, and the Society hopes that the new service will go some way to remedy this.

The service will create a simple web site and web address for individual firms, hosted on the Society’s site. The sites can then be accessed either through the Society’s own www.lawscot.org.uk address or directly through an individual web site address which will be given to the firms by the Society and which they can publicise themselves.

In keeping with the technology, details about the Solicitors’ Web Page is available online at www.lawscot.org.uk through the Solicitors Home Page.  By logging on, you can see an example of the web pages, and, with the online registration form, you can submit your firm’s  details directly to the Society.  We are hoping that many firms will take up this offer as an interim measure before they develop a site of their own.

So, if you don’t have a web site of your own, and would like your firm to be on the net, log on to www.lawscot.org.uk now and see what is on offer.
