Paddy Campbell, one of the Birmingham Six, urged Justice Minister Cathy Jamieson yesterday to fund a refuge for victims of miscarriages of justice.
Mr Hill, who was wrongly imprisoned for the Birmingham pub bombings, believes prisoners need special help and support to help them recover after being wrongly jailed. He spent 16 years behind bars before his conviction was quashed by the appeal court. A spokesman for the Scottish Executive said that the meeting was very productive and that the minister would look at the issue in more detail.
