Subscription fees for 2004-05 as approved by the Society's special general meeting in September 2004
The Society’s special general meeting held on 24 September 2004 agreed that as from 1 November 2004, the annual subscription payable by each member of the Society holding a practising certificate will be £500.
The subscription for non-practising members will be £115 and the statutory retention fee £50. The Society’s Council has also fixed the annual subscription to the Scottish Solicitors’ Guarantee Fund at £350, and the annual subscription for a licence under the incidental financial business regime at £50 per firm plus £40 per licensed person.
The special general meeting also approved the Solicitors (Scotland) (Foreign Lawyers) (Registration) Rules 2004.
