Lord Sutherland reappointed as Surveillance Commissioner

Lord Sutherland has been reappointed as Surveillance Commissioner.

The judge who chaired the Lockerbie trial court will continue in his role, which involves scrutinising all authorisations of property interference and intrusive surveillance by the police, customs officers and other public bodies.

He was first appointed to the role in 2001.
