Scottish lawyer shortlisted for UK Assistant of the Year Award
Shepherd and Wedderburn Corporate Finance Associate Stephen Trombala has been short-listed for the title Assistant of the Year in the prestigious Legal Week Awards 2004.
Stephen was nominated by Galashiels-based pharmaceuticals client ProStrakan for his work on the £180 million merger with French pharmaceuticals company Proskelia earlier this year.
Stephen, 32, joined Shepherd and Wedderburn in 2002 and has played a key role in a number of high profile deals including the Wolfson Microelectronics £78.9 million global offering.
Patrick Andrews, Chief Executive of Shepherd and Wedderburn, said: "Stephen is up against stiff competition from counterparts at some of the UK's biggest law firms, so making the shortlist is a great achievement in itself and an acknowledgment of Stephen's consistently high quality work."
The winner will be announced on 1 December at a ceremony at Old Billingsgate Market in London.
