Conference to look at child sex abuse

Victims and relatives to attend child sex abuse conference in Airdrie today

Sara Payne, the mother of murdered schoolgirl Sarah Payne, will be one of the guests at a conference in Airdire today to discuss child protection.

It has been organised by the Moira Anderson Charity, which is set up to help families affected by abuse.

Also present will be former nursery nurse Lisa Potts, who fought off an attacker with a machete and Margaret Ann Cumming, whose eight year old son was murdered by a convicted paedophile.
