Morton Fraser believed to be considering limited liability partnership status
Morton Fraser is the latest law firm to consider limited liability partnership status, according to a report in today's Herald.
The firm, one of the largest in Scotland outwith the "big four," has registered a shelf LLP at Companies House, although a final decision has yet to be taken on whether or not they will go ahead.
Recently Dundas & Wilson, one of the two biggest firms in Scotland, converted to LLP. Other large firms are believed also to be considering the switch.
