Scots lawyer wins UK award

Stephen Trombala is the UK's assistant of the year
Shepherd+ Wedderburn Corporate Finance Associate, Stephen Trombala, has won the UK "Assistant of the Year" award in the Legal Week Awards 2004 held in London.
Stephen Trombala was nominated by Andrew McLean, Corporate Counsel with Galashiels-based pharmaceuticals client ProStrakan (formerly named Strakan) for his exceptional work on Strakan's £180 million merger with French pharmaceuticals company Proskelia earlier this year.
Since joining the firm he has played a key role in a number of high profile deals, including the £26 million flotation of Microemissive Displays last week.
