Trainee assignations discouraged

Reminder that only in exceptional circumstances does the Society permit assignation of a training contract


It was recently brought to the attention of the Admissions Committee that an advert for a second year trainee had appeared in the Journal. The Admissions Committee would like to remind members that trainees commit to a two year training contract and that it is only in exceptional circumstances that assignations are permitted. It is the Society’s policy to discourage firms from actively seeking second year trainees.
