A man who admitted having "cybersex" has been jailed for two years
A man has been jailed for two years for having "cybersex" on the internet.
Neil Ross, 31, who posed as a 19 year old, is understood to be the first person in Scotland to be charged with sexual offences against someone in another room.
The father of two from Dennistoun pleaded guilty to charges of lewd and libidinous behaviour. He met a 13 year old girl through an internet chat room and conducted a relationship with her using a live weblink, persuading her to pose naked. The court was told his behaviour exhibited classic "grooming" pattern.
Ross was also warned, under the extended sentence provisions, that if he offended again he could be recalled and ordered to serve up to five years. He was put on the sex offenders register.
