WJM takes centre stage

Scottish law firm takes to the stage to illustrate employment law issues

A Scottish law firm is introducing a novel way of tackling employment issues – by taking to the stage!

Wright Johnston & Mackenzie LLP is staging a glitzy show entitled “You’re claimed!” at Glasgow’s Citizens’ Theatre this evening to highlight for clients, in an amusing way, the serious issues involved with employment law.

Professional actors will enact entertaining scenarios from the workplace to show the audience how to avoid costly and time consuming employment claims.

Liam Entwistle of WJM’s employment group, who dreamed up the whole idea, said: “The show is quite simply, hilarious.

“Our clients need to see that employment law isn’t frightening – you can be light-hearted and still get the message across.

“We wanted to find alternative ways of coaching our clients through the myriad of employment issues and I think the performance will impact much more effectively than any seminar or presentation we could run.”
