Founder Gordon Murray signs up Brian Leggat

Murrays WS has appointed Brian Leggat, a well known figure on the Edinburgh legal scene, as its second partner.

Mr Leggat, who spent 30 years as a partner at Dundas & Wilson, specialises in property investment and landlord and tenant leasing.

Gordon Murray, who founded Murrays WS in 1999 with the aim of providing comercial and residential advice of "big firm" standard at a competitive price, said that Brian Leggat "has an enormous depth of experience and range of contacts".

The company has also appointed Dorothy Lawrence to the team. She joins from Edinburgh firm McKay Norwell.
